Tunnelblick is a great free, open source OpenVPN client for Mac. Here's how to configure it to work with GhostPath.
Downloading and Installing
First you'll want to download and install the software. This is all pretty straightforward.
During the installation process you'll be asked if you have configuration files. Choose "I do not have configuration files" and quit the application.
Creating Tunnelblick Configuration Files
This is the most important part of the Tunnelblick process, and the one that's unique to Tunnelblick. Tunnelblick uses it's own format for configuration files, so we will have to manually create configurations for each server that you want to connect to. It's easy to do, though. Just follow these steps.
1. Visit our servers page and download the OpenVPN configuration file for the server that you want to connect to.
2. Create an empty folder on your desktop (or anywhere in your filesystem) and place the OpenVPN configuration file that you just downloaded into the new folder.
3. Next you need to rename the folder. You should choose a name that makes sense and will be easily identifiable in Tunnelblick. A good example would be simply the server name, such as ATL1. Make sure that you add the extension .tblk to the end of the folder name and have OS X use that as the extension. That will convert the file into a valid Tunnelblick configuration.
4. Finally, just double-click the new configuration file and Tunnelblick will load it. Then you can start Tunnelblick and choose to connect to your newly added server.
